01JUN26 SNA/SNFO board

Back for the september board I would copy and paste those old board sheets with the graphs and just change all the inputs to be the new data. Then someone would inevitably ruin the whole doc the next day. I’d delete and redo it and the cycle would repeat endlessly

Update:

OCM has evidently finally finished their review, we’re on the last step where NRC finalizes everything before posting results.

Unfortunately, “expect results late this week / early next week” (for the third week in a row)

I’ve served 9 years for the Navy and still haven’t wrapped my head around how slow it operates.

You will wait, and you will like it. I remember in ROTC how bad the CNN rumor mill would get. (Cadet News Network)

Thanks for the update - third week's the charm! 😝

ISEL used to be pretty quick, the longer times are most likely reflecting the lack of available spots, that means there is probably no sense of urgency as the goal of ISEL was to get people who could go to OCS in I think it was 6 weeks?

Do you think there’s a reason some applicants have heard back while others are still stuck in limbo? At the start of March, they were turning some packets around within two weeks, even though others who applied earlier had already been waiting months. Is it normal for them to hold pending packets and approve them in batches?

It could be as simple as the person looked at one group rather than the other, or it could be more complex only the person reviewing knows. It would make sense to review in batches if for nothing else than that is how the person approving as their calendar planned out.
