A bunch of the SNA ISEL's in the March Board pretty much got told they were selected the same day a street applicant, like me, got told. Don't know why, but I don't dare try to understand weird.

Prepare to be disappointed. I wouldn't expect to hear anything prior to the 12th at the earliest. Just assume they stashed ISEL packets until the board for whatever reason and results will come out by the end of the month at the latest.

^^ Recruiter confirmed with me he heard an ISEL board convened but to expect to hear back late June.

Not hearing ISEL results the week of the board convening isn’t the part that pickles my cabbage, it’s the “2-4 weeks” 4+ months wait for a program with the explicit purposes of A) being an entirely separate process from the regular board and B) shipping to OCS as soon as possible

This is probably part of the problem. I'd imagine there's no incentive at NRC to rush through packets if there aren't any dates available until November.

Long time lurker here also waiting to hear back for ISEL. This is also what I have been told, had a friend who has a connection at NRC do some digging and was told an ISEL board convened sometime in early May. Was told to expect results 2-3 weeks from last Wednesday, but at this point who knows

I would tend to agree except that there were ISEL applicants from November results that had FY28 OCS dates

They’re just in awe at how good our applications are.

My understanding is that there isn't an ISEL board that convenes. The whole sales pitch for ISEL was to remove the need for a board in the first place.

Yes, but I think some people are using “board” for the individual batches of ISEL applicants being processed.

Then, there may be multiple ISEL “boards” for every regular board.
