I’m in BDCP and I asked my recruiter when will I need to take the prt and was told 30-60 days before OCS. I then said “ah I thought I’d take one when accepted or while in school” and then didn’t get an answer after :( I assume my recruiter is wrong and if your like isel or street applicant maybe your recruiter could be right.
I got told i need to do PRT not long after i sign for bdcp…

Definitely should try to. Be ahead of the curve. They’ll go over everything again, but it’ll be very quick and you’re supposed to memorize it quickly. And it looks bad if you don’t have it memorized. We’re basically going back to college.
They never cover all of this material at OCS you’re just expected to learn it in your down time. Bravo is the only thing that needs full verbatim. Charlie and delta have a few things you need memorized but in general you only need working knowledge of that stuff. My advice would be to have bravo down cold prior to OCS. You’ll have plenty of time to study charlie and delta there.

What’s meant by “working knowledge”? Is that be able to describe or state something close enough as opposed to verbatim for App. B? I noticed similar wording in the 1530.1 OCS Instruction.
