01DEC25 Supply Corps Board — Still Happening?

Good evening everyone. Not what I expected but I got a call from the Supply OCM himself 10 minutes ago to personally notify me that I was Selected!! He told me once NRC gets the selection list approved he sometimes personally calls a few selectees to provide them the good news. In my case I’ve been working on my OCS package over the the years, not giving up each time improving my package. I was on the Aug 25 board and was not selected. It was a tough pill to swallow but if you don't get selected don’t give up. Keep strengthening your package via better OAR scores, evals, and recommendation letters. Selectees should be notified in the coming days this week. FYI he told me OCS is super backed up, potentially next summer ship out. Good luck to everyone!

Congrats that you were selected but odd he called you as it is preferred to notify the command so they can tell you directly.

FYI, when they mean OCS is backed up it is not actually OCS but that billets are filled for that FY or that they have already scheduled people for classes up to a certain point. OCS can handle many more students than they actually currently run through there, however the USN is limited as to how many officers it can commission in a FY by overall number and designator.
