It's a hybrid wrestling, full on Pancrase is open handed strikes, kicks, etc, plus grappling. It's a tough sport, not as violent as UFC or vale tudo, but still a pretty demanding sport.

Year group and fiscal year aren't necessarily the same. For example, since I spent a year in grad school after I commissioned, I'm a year behind my year group, and instead of FY05 I'm in FY06 when I showed up for primary. Since it's so early in the game being a year behind won't really matter...

In Monterey....courses that you can actually afford would be the two courses on the old Army fort (Ft Ord) just north of Monterey. Decent prices for military, something like 30 or 40 if I remember, and it's in really great shape, good walking course, and fun to play. The wind can be a factor...
