    Kicking the habit.

Or you could just rotate through them. Dip one day, smoke another, snuff one day, chew another. Then pick one you really like and stick with it. Momma didn't raise no quitter.

    Kicking the habit.

Find something else to occupy your time. Don't hang around smokers. Start running more. Chew toothpicks or gum. Don't tell yourself, "Ok after this pack I will quit." The only people I know that quit and stuck to it (including myself 4 years ago) have done it cold turkey. Good luck.

    MEPS and recent dental surgery

They make you fill out a form and report all of your medical history. They check your eyes, ears, nose, throat, grab your junk make you cough, give you the sticky finger, and make you crawl around on the floor. Then you pee in a cup and they call it a day. If you are currently taking any...

I think the contrail makes the design look sharp. Reminds me of VFA-137.

    Two mechanical advantage questions.

Yeah it is just a picture that is imbalanced and wants to get balanced. I weigh 195 say you weigh 160. I am B and you are A. If we move the triangle away from me I am just going to get closer to the ground. If we move the triangle toward me it will start to balance us. I to thought that the...

    Two mechanical advantage questions.

I looked at the question and noticed B is heavier than A, because B is lower and closer to the ground. So if you moved the triangle away from B the board is just going to keep getting closer to the ground, because of the weight of B. Therefore you need to move the triangle toward B to get A...

    Navy Housing

Milton and Pensacola are in the middle of transferring to a privatized company. The houses don't look spectacular on the outside, but the inside are reasonably nice. The Flag officer housing in P cola looks real nice. I lived in lemoore base housing when I was enlisted. The houses were not...

Honestly I never thought to much about it. To me empty was empty and full was full. Either way I had to travel with the weight. Some people told me they weighed themselves (physically) full with the vehicle. Now I thought that was wrong. I hate cardboard boxes so I always tell the movers to...

Wow I don't remember that in my brief and I just had one pretty recently. I didn't see that in the PCS package either. However, I did my last PCS online at SMARTWEBMOVE for the first time. If they tell you specifically not to do that that is fraud. I fixed my first post. I guess I will have...

If you have the Navy move your stuff make sure you take detailed pictures of it before they pack it. In transit you can insure the stuff with depreciation, or full coverage if you want to pay a little extra. Also if you're cool with the packers and movers (like offer them water maybe some...

    Advice?

I think if you really want to apply go for it. Don't wait. I knew a lot of prior nukes in Rhode Island who just entered the Navy and applied at their Nuke school. Granted they got picked up for the Nuke program, but they still had limited service. I think just completing the whole...

It just depends on the community the person does their job at. I saw suppo's with pins, and take a look at robav8rs post for intel. There is still hope for someone to get a pin. check these out https://www.sta-21.navy.mil/options.html#supply

I have the Performance Index also it is great. The only bad thing is the high minimum contribution. But like you said if interfund transfers are painless, so if you need the money for any reason and have to go below minimum you can get the cash immediately.
