That is very much true, but what I am saying is that one year of grad school right after commissioning can only be a potential problem if you are pack, pack-minus in your community anyways. But if you are pack-plus then your community will make your timing work.

Don't worry about the career timing. If you are a player in whatever community you end up in then they will make your timing work. If you aren't, then the fact that your timing is off isn't your biggest problem.

I would have gone with "priceless" myself, but that is a technique, not a procedure.

You can get the pad as well (the lower density foam in that pad lets air circulate better). Generally it seems that the multi-layer foam mattresses do a lot better with the getting hot issue (though they are more expensive). I can't vouch for the fewer-layer types.
