Good call, NROTC is pretty much the same anywhere +/- some bullllssssshhhhhh!!!!!t (inevitable). The exceptions are the schools w/ Corps type programs like Citadel, VMI, Texas A&M, VT to name a few.

what he said, pick based on your school. Purdue NROTC may be the best, but really.....it's all the same. pick a college based on academics, not NROTC.....because that's just crazy.

I think your stats look pretty good. The good engineering GPA will help you out for sure, as will your PFA score and PNS points. Nuke looks more at your calc/physics, so that shouldnt be a huge issue. If you don't get pilot, NFO will be no problem.

Aviation Technology was actually no bigger draw than anything else at Purdue. The reason why lots of Freshman ended up at that school in the first place was actually because of the Engineering program....aero, mech etc. AvTech turned into more of a "backup" when a lot of us decided engineering...

Right but having the major doesnt really matter. It's popular for mids to be in Aviation Technology, but it doesn't make or break as far as aviation goes.

Don't worry about pilot slots etc...it doesn't matter where you went to school. You are ranked across the nation when it comes to service selection. Purdue is a good place to be. My graduating class in May sent 9 people down to PCOLA for aviation.
