I hope you there was a release clause in your contract, something that says after 4 weeks of training you can agree to leave because the Marines most likely won't be able to release you from it and I doubt your OSO would want to bother unless your a really kickass candidate.

I agree with wildfly, you may want to endeavor into other stress relieving activities other then excercise as well, you'll be couped up for quite awhile so you may want to try to get laid if at all possible

Does anyone know how heavily the Marine Corps weighs SAT scores? I qualified for pilot and I'm pretty far down the line in the application process; I'm wondering whether my SAT score is going to help me or hurt me....all I know about is that you need to 1000 to be elgible.

To my knowledge you need a 5/6 to qual for NA but 4's for NFO and I'm fairly certain of this; which means I'm fairly certain if you qual for NA your good for NFO...I find often enough that some of us on this forum for good or bad have more knowledge then our recruiters do

I'm newly 23, but I think the main point of contention of you getting in is that you should retake the astb, the last "4" doesn't mean much but you want to change your first score to a 5...it maybe tough to get a 285 as well but its I'm sure it would be worth the effort. I haven't heard anything...
