More importantly, does anyone have any of Allan Smith's sea stories that he was peddling before he was outed?

I've only read the stuff that used to be on the POW Awareness Network about him.

He's been doing a clean-up campaign on his website after USNTPS objected officially to his claims of being an instructor there and wearing their nametag with wings (note he removed that from his flightsuit, but inadvertantly pasted a second zipper over the offending nametag).

If he really was an A-6 pilot, he wouldn't have posed in front of a CAG jet that would never have a LT's name on it.

Yeah, I've seen the photos. I was hoping to read some of his sea stories.

One I heard of had him punching out of an A-6 in 'Nam!

That one was in a back issue of "Flight Journal" magazine. It was a quite interesting read, especially for fiction. You'd think he would think twice about making such easily researched claims..

It's amazing how easy it is to spot the fakes these days.

What a douche. I'd love to have him autograph a copy of that article for me.
