There was a video of the testing of FAE that used to be shown back in the day that was eventually banned because monkeys strapped to poles around the circumference of a circle around a stationary FAE device were used to demonstrate the destructive power of using FAE. A FAE weapon also used a "Daisy Cutter" fuse and was small enough to be dropped from A-7's.

2. MOAB had yet to be used in combat

I think that whole project was hampered by way too much '70's vibes, but perhaps the written history was more positive. Still an interesting footnote in history.
