Hey y'all, quick question regarding Prorec vs finsel.

Now that we've gotten the Prorec Y, what else needs to take place with our applications before finsel? Are they just waiting for spots to open up, logistically speaking. If someone could please clarify this process for me, that would awesome.

I realize this information might be somewhere on this site but I'm having trouble finding it. If you would allow me your grace and please fill me in here.

Thank you!

At any point.. in which you signed your entire application... did you bother asking "what to expect in the event of a PROREC?" to your recruiter?

My application process actually took place on the enlisted side. (I'm in DEP).

No worries though, I'll see myself over to purgatory.

Cheers

Hey everyone! New to the forums just got the call from my recruiter Friday that I have been given a professionally recommended yes to become an SNA. I haven't gotten an OCS date due to graduation in December from college, but I should have my FINSEL as soon as possible! Looking forward to getting to know and meet y'all.

Greetings everyone!

I just got a call from my OIC. I was picked up for SNA. I have to commission before 10NOV2018, so I'll be going to OCS no later than august. I should know more tomorrow about when exactly I'll ship off. Thanks everyone for y'all's help, and congratulations to everyone that's gotten picked up!
Edit: I'm active duty btw.

Tell them you want to head out to Newport in 72 hours for class 11-18. Jk. But no really, that would be cool.

Haha I'm anxious to go, but I'm stationed in Italy, so I want to cross off a few more places in Europe before I go back to the states. I'm excited and wish everyone luck in their respective OCS classes.
