My recruiter told me that in the system I'm showing as a "select status", but that no official notification has been released. Does this usually translate to PROREC Y or does it sometimes change to PROREC N?

My recruiter told me that all aviation packages are now considered for both SNA and NFO regardless of what your preference is. I asked if there was a way to only apply for SNA and remove NFO completely, he said not possible. Is this something new or is he not being honest with me?

I start Marine OCS in January so I figured in the event I got injured there I'd still have Navy as a back up. From what I understand the FINSEL won't come for a couple months at least.
