For AD, Interviews are mandatory for the package and you must have one from an Officer of each designator your applying for. Not sure if your only addressing non-priors.

Im just gonna carry the packet through out OCS and pull it out whenever they ask me something, that should work.

So if anyone memorizing all of appendix b before OCS. Not sure if I have time for this lol, however I do have some of it memorized just from being AD.

I second that. I did the flight physical and eye test and it took like 45 mins and then he dilated my pupils even tho I had 20/10 vision. Kinda annoying. NFO is a great job though. Good luck to you all.

Ya they will teach you all this stuff in Pensacola. All Aircrew has to go through the same training upon arriving. If I remember correctly you have to swim a mile in a pool and do certain pool exercises and jumps in a flight suite and helmet. Don't sweat it everyone usually does fine.

The worst is if you don't get selected they don't tell you why. Makes you wonder if the processer could have messed something or something got lost. Kinda sucks to think about lol.

I think you'll be fine man. Call Mr. Williams (OCS NRC) at 901-874-9366 and he can tell you exactly where it is. I talked to him in November and he said the cut off date is to give an rough date for recruiters and that if my package was slightly after that date that it should be fine.

I hated the ASTB, everything I studied did not help. High GPA, low OAR so hopefully my prior service helps. With an 85% selection rate I think we all would be fine. Now we just need to know when its going to happen!

Package officially in/approved by NRC and sent to AOPM for board participation. It a relief just to have that done. Has anyone heard an updated date for the next board. Originally when I called NRC in early December I was told Feb 1st or 2nd. I'm sure that was an estimate.

I think you'll be fine. The selection percentage has been really good lately 90-95%. Engineering degree is definitely a plus.

Those number do seem low. The overall selection percentages for pilot I heard were 90-95% and NFO was lower around 60%. Don't quote me on this its all hear say lol.

Historically they do a early December board before the holidays and it seems as though quite a few individuals were selected in September (24th). But who knows were all just guessing.
