Live look at LHD-6 burning in port in San Diego. I hope everyone is alright.
Scary shit, one of the few things about being in the yards that worried me was all of the hot work done by questionable contractors.

You can hear and see an explosion at 52 seconds in the embedded video. Hope all the fire crews and duty section are able to survive this, looks like injuries already reported.

looks like so far only minor injuries, sounds like they called out another alarm from the news stations.
Reports of fire and an explosion aboard BHR today . . . apparently SDFD has been called in to assist the base fire department.

That is my thought as well.
In watching the live feed a lot of black smoke is now billowing out of her.
When I was listening to the SDFD feed about 90 minutes ago, they pulled back all units and evacuated the crew when the fire spread to the fuel.
