Been hearing encouraging things about using the plasma of recovered patients to help others. In this small sample, only one death out of 25, in a group that would typically see 50% mortality

That’s actually not bad. Probably pretty rare to approach max occupancy in retail
Not hard, based on what I've seen out here. My local Safeway and Home Depot just shut down all but one or a few entries and exits and put a masked-up counter there. If exit isn't near the entry, just put one each and give them a radio. One person out, one person in, until then, wait in line 6 feet from the previous group.

Of course some people have to stomp their feet and whine like little bitches, but it never fails to amaze me how a fraction of the population never outgrew that tactic as toddlers. Congrats, you have everyone's attention. The line's still here, and no, your act isn't changing anything. So surf the Internet on your phone or read a Kindle book like a normal bored person.

I really wish they'd get rid of the stupid one-way aisle bullshit, though. No one follows it, and all it does is give Karen an excuse to give someone the stink-eye or make snotty comments to a total stranger.

Wisconsin Supreme Court just struck down their governor’s stay at home order. Supposedly bars are opening tonight.

Glad to see the system works.
Even in Pennsylvania and Michigan where the State Supreme Court rulings did not go this way.
I would much rather have these issues be defined in court.

Actually, Karen calls the police. We gets tons of calls every day. Too many people in a car, the guy at the drive through had the wrong kind of gloves, the people in line at the store are too close..... I think her husband is the guy calling CBS to report his saw the golf ball move, and wanting a DQ.

My mental health is being degraded in the Covidian era.

Actually, the one way aisle thing is kinda fun. I can bump people with my cart and get away with it. Most times they apologize, which I think makes it even more hilarious.

Fun is a choice and I've made mine.

I got that side-eye last time I was at the super market because I took too long to decide which brand of heavy whipping cream I wanted to purchase.

Was in LA for the first time in a few weeks yesterday. Significantly more cars on the freeways and I even briefly hit some no-shit stop-and-go. My pax loads are slowly increasing too. People are saying fuck it. Government can't enforce these lofty goals.

I may or may not have gone to the beach this week in LA to see the bioluminescence waves.

And if I did, the beach may have had 70+ people there doing the same.

Lowes and Fred Meyer have taken some measures but not as crazy as Safeway and Home Depot, which is why I am not going to either of those places.

I’m pretty sure the authorized reasons for going to the beach are swimming, surfing, walking or running, but not sunbathing or looking at the water. We are watching, comrade.

We will eventually have a large group of people without masks in close proximity yelling while there is an asymptomatic super spreader (say it, don’t spray it) in the mix. It could have been at the Castle Rock coffee shop the other day. A whole bunch of people will suddenly get sick.

Unfortunately, that is what it is going to take so people can develop a realistic understanding of the risk.
Looks like we are there in Wisconsin. Let the experiment begin!

It’d be great if a bar would run a slightly more formal experiment with health folks. Free beer if you get tested going in, another free one if you come back a week later for follow up.

He bowls overhand.
Pelosi's and the Dem's "Heroes Act" proposed Coronavirus bill... What a crook of shit and nothing but an attempt to reshape society to the lib vision while securing Dem votes. This is fucking outrageous.
This is some old man yells at cloud bullshit.

The culprit is Dr. Fauci and the CDC, who continue to advocate for restrictive policies in spite of overwhelming evidence that their models for hospitalizations were off by at least an order of magnitude.

The politicians are following the advice of their medical SMEs and trying to craft policy to mitigate the negative economic effects (also with the advice of SMEs).

Picking on an entire political party because of a piece of legislation in its infancy before it even goes to committee let alone a formal vote in the house is not helpful.

For all the people Trump has fired in his administration, I'm surprised Dr. Fauci still has a job.

I agree that Dr. Fauci and the CDC are not helping but this is not old man yells at the clouds but rather Pelosi trying to push her agenda while calling it relief bullshit. It’s pure ideological and an attempt to push the lib agenda.

Luckily both Mitch McConnell and a Trump have said no chance in hell.
