OCS SWO Board 10 Feb 20

For the ones who where chosen, did they get it in writing and if so would anyone who was selected be opposed to sharing a screenshot of their selection? With all due respect to PPI, I recommend that they are sanitized.
My XO said that the board has adjourned; however, the Admiral has not signed/approved them. I can tell you that there were over 300 applicants to the board and the selection rate was significantly lower this time (30% this board vs 90% previous boards).

I'd honestly take everything you've been hearing with a grain of salt. There's been a lot of information tossed back and forth. People saying all OCS dates would be graduating in 2021. Numerous times saying waiting on things to be signed off on. Id just take what you think you're hearing and ignore it and just wait on hearing back. It sounds like everyone has been getting phone calls, it'll be a while before things are mailed and people have physical confirmations.

I'm not sure if a written announcement is typical for civilian notifications. My recruiter called to inform me but maybe he has something in writing that he can share?

Here's some additional info I got from my recruiter..

We had a conference call an hour ago with NRC (Navy recruiting command) and the timelines above are what they gave us when we asked for results. Active duty is a totally separate process which is likely why they could have gotten results sooner. As for the others, they're likely making it up or inferring that they were chosen based on the average of those chosen at the last board.

The results are signed at the same time, how those working with NRD's and those with commands get notified are different, there have been times when the people that input info into BOL were busy and results were released to NRD's before commands, there are times when they were released together, and times when NRD's were given info after the commands, however the 2 ways NRD's can find out is the signed paper was sent from the Director to the OACR's or the recruiters can look up their candidate in the system, either way both are accurate.
