New Army Uniforms

Oh, I can't wait for the pages upon pages of fascinating debate over the merits and aesthetic qualities of the new Army uniform. Putting in some leave so I can properly monitor this thread. :D
 
Everybody in DoD should just wear a bag to work...regardless of MOS, job, or duty assignment. Oh, and baseball hats with lots of velcro on them.
 
Is there an enlisted equivalent to this uniform as the original pinks and greens were like our service khakis, no?

If it works anything like the Navy then they'll phase them out with the next CSA.

Actually the CSMA is very impressed with the blueberries but he is thinking a more socially advanced orangeberry look.

Yes. They look almost the same with some minor differences. Here is the enlisted look.

It's a great look. It should touch a nerve if Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan appeal to you- a little bit of throwback, although the uniform doesn't look dated, it looks timeless, and a lot of heritage and tradition.
 
They need to declutter the uniform, and that's coming from a former solider. No disrespect to the General, but we are getting close to a parody. The good thing about it is, that you can read someone's uniform in short order and figure out their career pretty quick.
