The bearing is a large tapered washer 3.25" in diameter. See attached.

I should have known when I was upping the geek level I should have used the correct nomenclature. I swear, it all started with a five minute moving of stuff around my desk and a picture with my phone.? I figured my desk was more interesting than the coffee table covered with DOD FLIPs. How interesting is Tetris when everything is the same size and color? The one fun thing on the table is the *Step Into Reading - Choppers book. It's a helicopter reference for my Chinook MTP neighbors in the office next door.

I wasn't trying to be pedantic. I just didn't know all the nomenclature up there. I mostly just pushed the weight around and wiped the grease off on my flight suit.

Actually I was calling myself dumb. My office-mate Carl called them washers, as the manual clearly does. Dammit Carl! I do have a lot of other odd things in my office it would be fun to play "what's this" with, such as the Apache ammo track locking device that makes a tone like a tuning fork when you hit it on the corner of the desk (Carl's favorite). Not!?
