Anyone ready for the SWO board scheduled for 04 Nov? I am very optimistic. I know the results are still trickling in for the August board. I am probably the oldest applicant but thanks to the New PA.
My Stats:
ABE1 (AW/SW/IW)
Age: 34 ( yes i included a waiver)
OAR : 50. GPA: 2.87 ( MECHANICAL ENGINEERING), 4.00 ( MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP - ONGOING BARCHELORS)
CURRENTLY ACTIVE DUTY (6YRS IN)
ACFL, CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER, LPO.
LOR: O-5, O-5, MEPS COORDINATOR,
INTERVIEWS: O-5 (SWO), O-5 (EDO), O-3 (SWO)
PREVIOUSLY APPLIED TWICE FOR INTEL - NON SELECTION

You are not the oldest, but WE both might be! Recruiter says I should be on this board.
I'm thankful for that new PA! Here's hoping.

My Stats:
MM2(SS) (prior - 5 years active duty)
Age 34
OAR 53. GPA: 3.4 Undergrad (Sociology and Government) 3.2 Graduate School (International Relations)
LOR: O-10, O-6, and 3 O-5's
Applied once before for Intel - Non-Selection

Nice, I just routed my packet up my chain of command, I should be submitting it to the board here in a few days hopefully. Good to see another 34 here!

Does anyone have any information on the float portion at OCS? I undersatnd that the float portion can be done as a prone float or on your back now.

I have my package with my chain of command. They probably sent it out this week, i am yet to verify. So my age waiver has not been approved yet. Have you sent your package up?

Has anybody had any experience yet with the 34/35yo age waivers and how long they are taking? CNRC said there are a lot coming in, but I am keeping my hopes up. Would love to hear if any of yours got processed and how long it took!

It's good to see that there are others in this age group. I am just hoping it is not too late for them to process waivers for age for packages that were sent in last week. I guess we will see!

My waiver took 7 1/2 weeks to come back. I am 34 turning 35 next month. Remember it's all a case-by-case basis, so your experience could be different from mine. I was waiting on the waiver during the August board, heard back a week after it convened.

The good news is that they are apparently taking a ton of age waivers right now for SWO. I have a prior-service friend who just completed OCS. He said that there were several folks in their early to late 30s in SWO slots. So even if you have to wait, given the current trends, you are likely to get good news on a waiver.

Good luck to y'all. Stay motivated.
