I did Sir, just seemed like a lot of speculation. I know the Navy just spent a lot of money on 60,000 new M17/18 pistols. So I’m not sure if it’s a philosophical issue or a budgetary one.
Edit: Looks to be a budgetary, and or not wanting to spend the man hours training people to be effective with it.

Keep in mind "The Navy" =/= NAVAIR. All of NAVAIR (except those in the bizarro world of VP) have been issued different firearms than the regular blackshoe fleet.
You mean, in addition to everything else, VP has had the M9 inflicted on them all this time? That sucks.
It's been posted here, anecdotally, in the past. But TACAIR has had the M11 since at least 1997, but the helo side didn't get it until a bit later, but they still didn't have M9s.
