Her twitter feed makes me wonder if she actually does anything while on drill weekends other than tweet about being on a drill weekend.
I've never worked with said reservist. But I can state that for every reservist dicking around on social media, there's probably another one in the same unit pissed off that they're picking up the first one's slack. One weekend a month, my ass . . . not as any kind of khaki leadership that's worth a shit.

So she wrote a whole list of reasons why she was resigning her commission, and then . . . didn't resign her commission? Or are we going to go on the technicality that a reserve commission and an AC commission are two separate things, even if you have no break in service? 
Well... yeah... you have to subtract 2-3 paygrades.

Yep, and it gets better than that. The photo of the girl saluting was just a stock photo that T&P grabbed to use for the article. They later changed the picture and admitted "oops," but a few other blogs had already run with the article and the photo.
I gotta figure the real person in that photo must be frustrated as hell with the infamy of being associated with that article. I guess if she ever did an aviation tour then she's have a ready-made callsign "Anna," if nothing else.
