The harm in looking is that you get distracted from what your current priority needs to be. Daydreaming about being a cool jet guy is counterproductive when you need to be a shit-hot Hummer guy first.

And searching for 'transition' on this site will find that advice in spades in the threads on transitions, shocking there might be good info out there for folks who come here asking for info on Naval Aviation.
