If that was a few months earlier that very well could have been our own @PEPfromage delivering Président de la République française
Its interesting how certain activities can make one country wary of the risks, but then be no big deal to another. While not the president, I can say that John Ryan-ing high ranking officers was a lot more commonplace in France than anything I have ever seen in the USN. And we are not talking about the XO being the one flying either. Think day only plane guard HAC.
Opened a new thread, the French pics seemed a good place to do it.

Interesting picture.
Do the P-3 bubbas fly the ball, or does paddles just stand there and wave per diem checks?
I get a lot of chances to get good aviation pics and videos at my current job. Pair of reservist AH-1W from HMLA 773.
