I'm sure this is 94% inaccurate sea lawyer info but I thought I would ask anyway. I have heard that we all have to go before 01 OCT due to that's when the fiscal year is over. Again prob sea lawyer gouge but who knows right.

Any thoughts?

Sea lawyer BS. Solid chance we were selected for next FY anyways, because commissioning FY goes by commission date, meaning 25 June is the LAST class of this FY (15 Sep grad date). That is how I understand it at least. It matches if you look at class numbers as well, there are 16ish in a year, and 15-17 just classed up 04 June.

Good answer, at least good enough for government work. :D

Is Bupers online access available to all people applying to OCS? How do I go about getting an online account?

Very true, but the problem for me is that my 29th birdday is the 20OCT and I didn't submit an age waiver so the clock is ticking. I just hope that it will 'accelerate my life' towards a sooner OCS class lol

I am in a similar situation. The LCDR at my NORS said very simply that they wouldn't select you in the first place if your age was an issue.

MAN! Waiting for this FINSEL letter is killing me. I have already started my turn over with my replacement for the division and work centers I manage. It was told to me I am supposed to be in the AUG 27 class up. So that would make my last day August 11th, taking those 2 weeks of leave prior to.

My command bugs me everyday asking when I'm leaving as well. My replacement has been in my shop just sort of waiting for me to leave to take over my spot.

Heard I might be penciled in for October but was told I'm on standby pretty much while they sort out the class dates. October is plenty fine for me!

Have any non priors received their FINSEL yet?
Haven't received mine either. Just sent my recruiter an e-mail to see if he may have any timeline insight. I wasn't given any information
on what class date I may get either. When I did receive my pro-rec on the 24th of May I was told two weeks at the earliest, but more
likely a finsel will appear in about a month. It's been almost a month since then, so I'm not holding my breath. I'm willing to bet
that many SWO PRO (lol) recs from this recent board will receive September, or October class dates. Just an educated guess as has
been the general theme of the application process for me lol
