I used to shoot there with a bunch of retired Marines. They started to die off and the city hooligans started to show up.

Me rikey... I have an Enfield No. 4 Mk 2 and a Mosin Nagant M38 paratrooper's carbine. I'm looking to own an example of every major battle rifle used during WWII. Some day.

that's a worthy endeavor, jolly one.
i have managed to acquire most of the more significant ww11 rifles except no arisakas.
garands, springfields,enfields, mausers, mosins. most are little used. they were just really dirty but cleaned up well. most seem to have appreciated pretty well comparing favorably to my IRA especially when one considers that capital gains don't apply.
