Well we also used to be home companies like Hughes Aircraft, Grumman Ironworks, etc. And in case you haven't read the news, we aren't even going to bother putting men in space anymore much less on the moon. We are relying on China and Russia for that. It's not like America is some Third World country that has to purchase aircraft from other countries, it's the United States of America, maker of the F-22 Raptor, put a man on the moon, home of Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, etc...we don't need the Chinese, a Communist dictatorship, to make our Presidential helicopter for crying out loud.

Ohhh wait I'm an idiot, I forgot global warming is responsible for both hot and cold weather.
Dude, global warming was SOOO five years ago.
These days, the term is "Climate Change." Little less of a lie that way. (After all, the climate in San Diego changed from 30° to 75° every day last week.)
Let's see: this administration uttered not a peep when the people of Iran went into the streets last year to protest a sham election by a repressive regime that took our embassy, imprisoned our staff and has been a sworn enemy of the USA for over 30 years. Yet, when an ally & nation that signed & honored a peace treaty w/ Israel (against the wishes of all its arab neighbors) had its people go into the streets to protest a repressive regime, our president demands that Mubarak step down immediately and calls for liberty for the Egyptian people. Too bad he couldn't feel this passionately for the Iranian people.
So, would such an administration purchase arms from companies partly-owned by the PRC? In my opinion, in a New York minute. There are principles involved here, but none that most of us think to be reasonable or honorable. JMHO.
