Hey, I was just wondering...after you send in your OCS package, do you have any say in what time of year you head out to Newport?

I hate the cold...

You specify when you're available on the application, but other than that no.

You go when they say go. You live in Pittsburgh yet claim to hate the cold?

Youll understand more later, but you WANT to run/do stuff outside. Doing indoor PT there blows.

Try running in circles with 200 other people until the DI's say stop.

Or being in there with another class running sprints, suicides, sprint shuttle hops, etc. Thats only a small sampling. Plus being in the gym that early is depressing, especially knowing you will be PTing there for the morning and running in circles.

As it was said, the cold is the least of your worries.
 
The shit you guys went through...you know, as much as I'm gonna hate OCS...in a sick, masochistic sort of way, I think I'm going to end up liking it a little.
