Corpus Christi Wetting Down

For anyone out here in Corpus / Krock that has recently promoted or is about to promote to JG that would like to be involved in a semi-epic to epic wetting down, reply here or send me a PM.

Word has it that some guys out in KRock are going to be throwing a kegger, which would be cool, if we were still in college...

Myself and a few other folks have been talking about throwing a party up in Austin. I've already talked to a few places that would love to have us, and would be a great time for all.

Time fram is a few weeks, so mid Jan, but I think thats a bit flexible.

When I was there, we rented out the Lex for 40-50 new 1stLts. It wasn't too expensive and made for a great party venue, from what little I can remember.

I heard rumors that the '08 May grads did that last year... sounded like a lot of fun.

Unfortunately not a lot of people graduate in December, and the OCS guys are all dispersed throughout the year.

Yeah I see your point. Opening up a massive bar tab at a nice bar, in a highly urban city, is just the thing that college kids do all the time! Plus Austin sucks compared to Corpus and KRock.

I mean to each his own. Throwing a kegger is definately going to be cheaper, but for my own part I'd rather do something that doesnt involve throwing pingpong balls into plastic cups.

I'm just giving you shit because most single studs in the tracom are still living like they're in college (just with a bigger bank account, and rightfully so)

for some of us married guys who are a little more tied down it's harder to skip out of town for the weekend to go party in Austin. That, and skeds propensity to schedule me late every Friday and 0530 most Mondays.

I agree Austin is the bomb (and filled with lovely females), but logistically difficult for a lot of folks. I heard about the Lex party and that it was pretty epic. Either way, I'll drink your booze and reciprocate in 13 months.

Throw stones all you like, but realize that there ARE squadrons that exist where folks from O-1 to O-5 all partake in the aforementioned activities.... *ahem* !
