I thought "they" were trying to get the W/O and W/ dependent rates closer to give less incentive for the youngsters to marry. Though I'm probably just crazy.

Your BAH rate won't ever go down, unless you move to a new location. If the new rate is lower than what you currently are entitled to, you'll continue receiving your old rate.

They lowered Pcola's (which sucks for those there, though it doesn't affect me any more) but I think it probably makes sense, at least now that I'm in Jax. When I moved I couldn't believe I was going to lose money, especially since housing costs here are definitely much higher than Pcola if you want to live east of Blanding and south of 10. Either way, looking forward to the pay jump in May :D
