First of all my name is Amazing ok for the serious part

Education: B.A. Psychology w/ year and half of business courses
Cumulative: G.P.A 2.3 Core Classes G.P.A. 3.1

Strengths: Excels in history and human behavior, cross cultural psychology, team work, and being team leader

How would I go about finding any info on wanting to be a Naval Intelligence Officer?

Do I have a shot at being selected for OCS ?

I live in Hawaii on a Neighbor island so there is enlisted recruiting office which has been kind of helpful, but most times it seems like all they want me to do to is join as an enlisted men, but I want a commission.

Any help would be nice Aloha

Oh dear, you have committed the ultimate AW sin. No one has a magic eight ball to tell you your chances. I also don't think the "Amazing" part will go over well with this crowd who are educated, devoted men and women who have earned their wings through sweat and just plain hard work. My sincere advice to you is to use the search function on here and take any constructive criticsm you are going to get on here from posting this graciously.

Honestly, your GPA is going to present a bit of a challenge, but don't let that stop you from applying - multiple times, if that's what it takes. Read up here on AW, then get in touch with an officer recruiter - even one that isn't necessarily local. They will tell you what you're elligible for and what other testing you're going to need before you can proceed.

Yeah, your GPA is really weak. You will definitely need to bolster your OCS package with some great test scores.

First off, I'm not sure if you're quoting someone/something, but it's fattening not fatting.

Your GPA is dismal. I don't have too much room to talk, but if you're seriously considering becoming an intelligence officer, then I would work very hard at bringing that up. They aren't to give a damn about your core classes GPA being a 3.1. Because that means your major GPA is around a 1.6. If it were the other way around, it still wouldn't be considered very much. They want people who are dedicated enough to do what has to be done to reach his/her goals. A 2.3 shows that you are immature in your goals and irresponsible in taking the effort to get there. Try not to be offended by what I'm saying. I was barely better than that GPA a couple semesters ago. But, I've gotten my shit together, and am working very hard at bringing my GPA up. And it's slowly improving.

So, if this was some drunken posting that you didn't consider very much while your wrote it, that's fine. But if you're really very serious about what you want to do and are starting to see the light in reference to the extra effort you will need to put in, then I wish you the best of luck and hope your efforts are rewarded.

edit: didn't realize you had gotten your B.A. already. Can always get your masters and work hard. I'd say a 3.0 in masters program would look better than a 2.3 in a B.A. I know nothing of the intel pipeline so search around the internet. You can always go to navy.com and locate an officer recruiter to call even if it's just for information.

Hey I found out my GPA will be 3.0 (or higher) if I transfer to an accredited University in Oregon how the hell is that possible? If I take the history courses that I graduated I can get my degree in History (which I am close too) and not worry about my Psychology Degree GPA anymore.

Any other thing I found out was that GPAs are NOT standardized so every school is different so it as no internal validity at all, very interesting.

If that's true, then that will seriously help out your package.

Thats what an inside joke is, inside. It means everyone isn't going to find it funny, only those who are in on the joke.

Contemplating -1 for trying to make fun of someone else and not making any sense in doing so.
