Wow, what happends if you do that? Are your fighter days over if you G-LOC, or do you get several chances to practice and build up your tolerance?

That's probably going to make it into the footage they show you in the class before. Nice.

The night after I did the centrifuge I woke up my significant other multiple times trying to do the hick in my sleep. She said I kept holding my breath and kicking my legs.

I remember I saw a video of a guy who pretended to go out, and it was pretty funny.

Thought that was what you were doing... lol.

No, if you GLOC they usually have you try again that same day, maybe the next day. If you GLOC again they send you home with a workout routine to build your lower body muscles.

The letter you get when you leave says you either passed everything or that you failed and they recommend you come back. I think it's up to your CO whether or not you go back to try again.

So, pretty sure it's not a required qual to have...in fact I think there are a number of jet guys who've never gone to CFET. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong..

Air Force guys, on the other hand, have to pass it (at 9 Gs too) or they can't fly fighters.

Hmm, an F-14 guy GLOC'd in my class and they didn't make him come back, they let him leave like the rest of us. His video was pretty funny too.

They shut down the centerfuge for a few years due to some cracks in the arm that spun it around, at least that was what the CFET guys told us. It had only been open for a short time when I went through it and most guys I knew in jets had not done it.

I rocked the G-Loc.....head turned got me....and I didn't even go to the fuge until half-way through BFM in the RAG. It's kind of like peeing your pants..it's cool.

Edited: and now that Iraq's pathetic download speeds have allowed me to view your video....yes....that IS some funny shiat!
