Time Off/ Travel Question

Quick Question: my sister is getting married next spring and wants me in the wedding. I should be heading to OCS this fall and will hopefully be done in January. She plans to get married after I am out of OCS.

If there is a 3 month back log to flight school and I get alternate duties until flight school will I be able to get to Greece for a few days for the wedding?

Alternately, if I am at API and need to take a weekend trip to Greece for the wedding, will I be allowed to do so?

Keep your CoC well informed with plenty of lead time and they should work with you. I left primary right in the beginning of instrument phase to go to my mother's retirement on the west coast...anything can be worked

Thanks for the input. She said she is waiting to plan the timing until I know when I will be where. I figure with the 3 month lag between OCS and API it may be easier for her to do it during that time, while I am in a recruiting officer or somewhere else.

I don't think that recruiter would appreciate you doing that
