Key West Wedding question

1st time long time,

I've felt like an airwarriors stalker quietly ridiculing and amusing from a far. But finally a question to ask when I am getting ready to sell my soul to the marriage gods.

I am getting "hitched" late December in Key West. My question pertains to uniforms, would it be appropriate to get married wearing my choker's (Navy Dress Whites.) I am not sure of the dates they change uniforms. Even if they are Winter Dress, would wearing them offend the local Joe Navy folks?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

And for the record, this site has helped with my countless questions throughout the past couple years. Thanks to all of you!

Finally, I have never been to the Keys, so if anyone has any must winter tourist advice, please advise.....

Well... what's there to make fun of? I've heard that after a long, hard month of work, take a vaction deep into Key West leaves everyone satisfied.

I was more dissapointed that no one has told him not to do it. Wings before rings anyone? (And cruise, Singapore, Dubai, and age 30, etc.)

No one is bringing it up because "arguing" about getting married in flight school is kind of like shouting "WASSUP" on the phone. It wasn't really that funny to begin with and now people are just over it and have let it go.

OP-Congrats. Enjoy the beaches on base down there- They tend to be a bit nicer. Get out and do some fishing if the wx is nice- and ENJOY!! Congrats to the Mrs too.

When did we give up listening to the advice of the old guys? I'm not talking about myself but I whole heartily agree. Especially after watching the vast majority of friends I have that married early, fail.

HA!! Fortunately Iv been on 3 cruises singapore and dubai are just the beginning(prior E), just hit the dirty thirty, my balls are saggy, etc.

Don't worry, I agree in a way! I have given the speech a thousand times to kids in the military. You should know what you want prior to making that huge commitment. Test drive the vette before you buy a Honda. Have plans to mitigate future "uncertainty." Im sorry, but I do have a pre-nup, think its stupid not to.....
