-Anyone have thoughts on this package? I have time to take the ASTB again, but many question why I would want to since I have the highest score out of my class at my Unit (only 2 others wanting aviation). Most seem to think my package is "good enough, you'll be fine" but that doesn't ease any of the butterflies when you're the type of person that feels like you could always squeeze a little more out there, shave off slightly better performance here no matter what.

Those scores sound decent enough. If it makes you feel better, take it again, but honestly, it's an aptitude test and I think you've demonstrated already that you have the aptitude they are looking for (at least as far as the ASTB can try to judge it). Your grades and other stuff will probably have more bearing on things than whether you got a 6/7/6 or an 8/9/8. I've heard of and seen solid ASTB scores save an otherwise below average package (gradewise at least), but you seem to be decently competitive overall for a ROTC guy so I honestly wouldn't sweat it if I were you.

Ok guys newbie here just recently took the ASTB and onlystudied 2 weeks before. I should have studied more and now I plan on taking itagain in 31 days. My scores were 4/6/5 42 yikes. I have FAA licenses and havewanted to be a naval officer my whole life. I graduated in April, 30 with a BS.I plan on completing my package by mid July and making it to the next board. MyGPA wasn’t the best 2.88 but I have great LOR’s.
Anybody going though theprocess now and want to chat about things? I will be checking daily and I currentlyhave the Barron’s ASTB study prep, ARCO ASTB and OAR. I am giving thiseverything I have to make it to OCS and applying for Pilot/NFO. I am ready toconverse with anyone on the forum and will be checking daily from here on out.

I know this has nothing to do with the astb, but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about seizures and getting into a military flight program. I've looked around, and what I have seen does not seem promising, so if anyone knows of exceptions, just let me know. Here's my story...
So I've been working for this military flight thing for 6 months now. I've been working with a Marine OSO on my application package, and one of the questions on the initial medical form was about seizures. I recalled that I had a seizure when I was about nine, so I put that down. MEPS wanted a record, but my health provider couldn't find one...so MEPS then wanted an EEG (type of brain scan), so I got that done and it came back abnormal, well my neurologist told me there were two little blips that were questionable. So my neurologist wrote up a letter, and it was sent to MEPS. My OSO later informed me that I was disqualified from the program because I had a history of seizures (which was just one seizure under the age of ten). She told me that you don't have a serious problem, that she wouldn't report me to the DMV in a situation like this, and that I would probably never have another seizure in my life. She told me that I just have a higher chance of having one over someone who doesn't have an abnormal reading. Also, she told me that the EEG can't really determine whether or not I will have a seizure in the future, she can really only determine if I will by looking at my past history of seizures, which I only had one...I took the next step and had an MRI, and I am going to have another EEG, and I am going to get a second opinion on these tests, but what I've been seeing online, even a little abnormality on the EEG disqualifies anyone...this whole situation does not seem promising, so if anyone knows of a situation or someone who did get in to a flight program, just let me know.
