My favorite was when both were asked who they would have as the Treasury Secretary. McCain had an answer, Obama didn't.

...and you realize that McCain said Warren Buffet, who just so happens to support Obama. Great answer ;)

Just because a guy happens to vote differently than you doesn't mean he isn't the best solution for a problem...I think it showed maturity on his (Sen. McCain's) part, and a willingness to work on both sides of the aisle...

Oh, of course :sleep_125

Either way, it shows he's been thinking of things and planning, not just talking about it.

McCain is definitely on the offensive in a big way.

Yes, but he's not going to be a better democrat then Obama. If the guy would have stuck to conservatism and not voted for the bail out he would have been elected. But now it's OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOObama in 08 my friends. Count it. It's a done deal.

OOOHHH SNAP!! He dropped the Herbert Hoover card!!! There are like 8% of Americans who got that...

Neither of these guys seem to have a clue on the budget.

Sen Obama: "A hatchet but not a scalpel"

I am still interested where he wants to cut govt spending. He hasn't mentioned a single detail.

Sen McCain's idea of an across the board freeze isn't much better. That still leaves a half trillion dollar deficit.

Neither claims to be changing (increasing) tax revenue significantly to counter either.

I cannot wait to see the SNL spoof with Tom Brokaw laying the verbal smack down on Sen. Obama.

Oh, of course :sleep_125

So you don't see a difference between thinking that Warren Buffett is qualified to run the treasury, and tacitly approving of his choice of president? He approves of his professional expertise, not of his vote.

Obama was the first to invoke 9/11. Huh.

OTOH, why exactly does defense and Veterans spending get a bye from McCain when it comes to sacrifices in spending and a possible spending freeze?

Wow, please tell me John McCain how you've gone up against your own party...again.

And this BS about Obama voting to raise taxes 94 times? TOTAL CRAP! Palin tried to pull this claim last week and it was thoroughly researched and proven untrue.
