PR 32 was the last aircraft I worked on before I went on disability.The second VQ-1 EP-3E ARIES II PR-32 (Deepsea 32) BUNO 156511 on vacation in China. As you can see the #1 T-56A engine and prop survived. The Chinese jet wasn't so lucky.

The Navy sent it to Lockheed in Georgia where new wings were installed. It came here to Central Texas after for Mod, then back to the fleet. It came back about 1 1/2 years ago for the latest mod, and I was trying to put it back together to kick it back over the fence. I don't know if it's still here or if it's back in Navy hands now.What ever happened to that thing (after the Chinese finished reverse engineering everything)?
