I met phrogpilot73 by chance, when chatting up some Marines during NYC's Fleet Week. He happened to be talking about his experiences in Primary and in my head I went "I swear I've read this story on Airwarriors before..." Then I noticed the HMM-774 patch on his flightsuit (which happens to be his avatar here), and in one pathetic swoop, I connected it all.

On a side note, I just think of all the time "wasted" reading old AW threads that could've been better spent PT-ing...This place is pretty addictive. :)
 
I’ve PM’d with some of the folks here. I’ve not met them but know personal information, and real names. Mumbles, Ryan_Cunningham and I met for lunch. (There’s a thread about it, with pictures, somewhere here on AW.) I wish I could meet more of you. That’d be fun. It was fantastic meeting Casey and Ryan.

I don't know any airwarriors in real life but there is always the possibility I have seen one and not known it.

I imagine I will come face to face with one eventually.
