Hey all, been awhile since I've had internet here in Quantico. Looks like I've got just over 12,000 posts to catch up on:eek:!

Staying motivated, only three more weeks of training until grad week :icon_smil! It's going good so far. I'll have to say it's pretty moto seeing all the birds flying in and out of HMX-1 everyday. Heck, even the phrog's look pretty cool (;))
I still want fixed wing but at least I know I'd love helo's now to. Gotta go catch up on some rest but I hope to get back in the mix on here in a few weeks when I get done. I'm hoping for ptad for a couple of months and then maybe Echo co for TBS so I should have some time to catch up. That's about it.

Oh, and going through the combat course and the Quigley when it's 38 degrees outside is almost a religous experience :D

Favorite SgtInst. quote so far, "The only thing worse than a nasty candidate...snakes!" (kind of had to be there) :icon_smil

Ah, those were the days. Congrats on making through that cold WX. I was a summer company guy and I can't imagine that stuff in the cold. I also can't imagine TBS in the summer ... good luck and have fun  Your life will never be the same bro!

Well I made it through with about slightly less than half of my original platoon. Started with 53, graduated 24. Feels good to have Brown field in the rear view mirror! :D

Now I play the waiting game, deferred my commission because they wanted me to go straight into tbs which I couldn't do but started the paperwork today to get it done. Hopefully I'll get into the june tbs class which would put me in pcola next january.

I see I've got about 6400 missed posts, anyone want to give me the cliff's notes version of the past ten weeks? ;):D

Seems like a pretty high attrition rate. Any particular reason so many didn't make it? High amount of DORs?

Congrats on making it through by the way.

I wasn't there but 10 week OCC classes have pretty high attrition + cold = people quit/break.

You wouldn't happen to know a Korean guy, prior HM, who graduated with you? His sister works with me and went to the graduation, she was pretty happy to get him out of the house!
