When I get to PLC this summer, may I bring a jumbo sized bottle of Motrin to keep in my locker or do I have to request pills?

There are no recent threads on the issue, so I am wondering if anything has changed. Been having a lot of aches and pains lately, must be getting old.

Your motrin will be confiscated as contraband. Any medication not given to you by a Corpsman will be taken during health and comfort inspections. Any attempt to hide your Motrin or lie about it will be an integrity violation and you will need to explore other career options at that point.

This means if you are really moto, you'll run all your events with cylinder up your ass.

you wont need a bottle of the stuff. If things get really bad for you just ask the corpsman for it. A few classes ago anything like medicine or vitamins or whatever was locked up with your cell phone. Things may have changed. You really wont need it that much. I dont think it helped me at all (even though I took it from time to time)

You can purchase some "supplies" after you break out for first libo but its on a case by case basis of whether or not the staff will go after you for that kind of stuff. Honestly the 800mg horse pills the corpsman carry were handed out like candy if you needed it. Basically the idea is they dont want candidates self-medicating due to the idea that you can do some serious damage if your overdosage especially on items like motrin where you just keep popping them because the pain is still there.

One little medical items that can be a lifesaver though were your own supply of moleskin, not the flimsy thin stuff either the thick pads. Also the corn rings are great for a no-cutting quick patch over small blisters and scabs. Your feet are going to take a beating all you can really hope to do is minimize it and fight a holding action once the blisters do appear. Socks will save your life on this, spend the money and keep the issue socks for when you know your gonna wear them for an hour and get them wet (E-Course).

Only other real big medical items that can be in short supply was any kind of athletes foot cream and if you are prone to ear infections swimers ear drops will be a nice little item for when you get into the nastiness that is the movement course or the quigley.
