Anyone take the ASTB in San Diego?

I am taking it on Monday at the ASW base in Point Loma. Do the facilities offer the computer version? Also, how was the overall experience?

I've taken it there, and will be retaking it on Monday. It's the paper version of the test. When it took it last time, we were placed in a conference room and everybody sat at a large table, so its not individual desks. Other than that it's just like any other test.

How long does it take to get the results? Where is the closest computer facility from San Diego?

It took a little over a week to get my results back, I think the prior enlisted guys that took it got it back a little faster. I don't know where the closest computer facility is, maybe LA NRD.

i took mine there, just make sure you are at the right place. pretty much when you come through the main gate and right until you hit the fence, then look for a blue awning. for me, it was impossible to find.

How'd you do on the test? I just recently transferred to SD..do you have a contact phone number for the local officer recruiting office? Thanks!
