Stayin' alive
So the flashchat kids know about this, but hoping to get a recruiter to chime in and maybe make this current gouge..
I have failed my PRT 3x times after my PRO-REC. I am the skinniest fat-kid I know. I do fine on SU and RUN, and is always problematic with PU. My last PRT was with a USNA grad and after 25 sit-ups had me restart. Now, I have been able to do the 47 PU required, but after restarting, I fell a few short.
I am not disappointed or angered at the USNA grad by any means, but actually thankful because I never knew that you couldn't put your knee down while doing PU and my recruiter said nothing of the two prior times. I would have gone to OCS not in shape. USNA grad actually gave me tips for building the right core muscle instead of using pure arm strength.
Here is the actual question.
I received my PROREC around 2 JULY 07. I asked my recruiter about remaining time from PROREC and FINDOCS since we had gone over 30 days. He checked with the processor and he said CNRC will ask at 45 days and it will expire on 90 days.
All the instruction I have found contradicts this, and that it the request must be made in writing to extend the PROREC to 90 days. He is well convinced that everything is OK. I have 1 month left till 90 days to fix my PRT and submit FINDOCS according to him, should I stop worrying?
