Well, since I couldn't read the rest of the article, I couldn't fairly make that assertion myself.
 
Lockheed has built a room resembling a massive acoustic chamber, in which each helicopter will be blasted with electromagnetic energy to test operations in a nuclear explosion, among other scenarios.

And if anybody questions my comment of "obviously biased", just read the above quote in reference to the RF chamber....
 
There's really no mention of whether the alterative would've been able to do any better. Seeing as the S-92 hasn't landing any major military contracts, I wonder. Blackwater has some, but that's about as close to a military contract as I've found. Britain and Canada have both bought the EH/US-101.

Canada bought the EH101 for SAR duties but they have made a bigger buy of the S-92 for their Navy:
