Even though it's ugly as hell, why don't they just stick with the blue shorts/emblem shirt they give out during boot camp, OCS, at my NROTC indoc, etc.? There. I just saved the money a ton of time/money from having to come up with a new tshirt/shorts design.

Sure, we could do that, but then how would the guys designing the new uniforms ever get their Navy Comms?

There were a bunch of Air Force types running around here for a couple of weeks before they headed up north. They had matching PT uniforms including matching ballcaps and socks (possibly shoes, too but I'm not sure). They looked like a prep school on a field trip. Let's just pray that the Navy refrains from going that far.

I think we are headed that way...from the article I read apparently we are the only service that doesn't already have a PT uniform and the MCPON thinks we look too much like a bunch of individuals.
