Satirical D-day News Cast

I hate fox news. I dont like CNN either. They report sensationalist news and specialize in mudraking. I really dont care about Anna Nicole Smith, I dont care that high school cheerleaders were running a school in Texas (actual story reported for several hours one day), I dont care about 90% of what they report. They are just trying to fill time. The best news available to the average person is from the BBC Worldnews. In 30 minutes they will tell you everything you need to know to not sound like a moron about world affairs. The News Hour with Jim Lehrer (a fellow Marine) is also a great source for national news. We can throw out the term "liberal media" and just replace it with "those retards who want to get their face on TV and have nothing good to say." That covers both Fox and CNN.

I watched about 4 minutes of it. I got tired of how calm and slow they spoke. They werent that calm for the Virginia Tech shootings.

I think if the attack occured in 2007, our military would not be using WW II era weapons and aircraft, but maybe im being to critical. I could only do 4 minutes too.

The point isnt about the equipment, it is about the attitude of the news, and the way that they present events.

I was actually having a similar conversation yesterday. On June 7, 2007, a news report would be "Massacre at Point Du Hoc."

Hmm....well I like Fox News because they are right-wing and openly patriotic (I'll take right-wing over left-wing anyday), but I take their news with a grain of salt, I just like it because it bugs the crap out of leftists :) From my knwoledge, Fox News being right-wing has caused the other news outlets to be a bit more truthful in their reportings.

I don't get my news from the news channels though, I more or less just get it from forums like this. If it's a world or national event legit enough, usually a thread about it starts, and then you can learn so much from reading the discussions.
