I have used the sharpshooter. Nice, but often crowded.

I have heard Corpus Christi Pistol Rifle Club is nice. I have not gotten a chance to call/check them out.. Closer to KROCK than most of Corpus.

yeah, i looked on the nra site earlier, but don't know what towns are close-by (or at least closer than corpus). i'll def check out this place though...

CCR&PC is a pretty nice facility. I am out there three-four times a month. They run extensive trap and skeet programs, have more line positions than you could ever use and their range isn't the typical 200 yarder that most clubs pass off as a "high-power" range. PM me also, if you need any more specific stuff.

I've been to sharp shooter and the cc gun club but I'm looking for something closer to kville. A local cop I was talking to mentioned something about some old mines in the area where people go to shoot? Anyone know where these may be?

If you're just looking to shoot, you don't really have to go to an official range. While there, we asked the local police if it was alright to just go shooting in the middle of nowhere and they didn't have a problem with it. So, all you have to do is drive south and fire away, just make sure no one is near. If you want to know where we went, shoot me a PM and I'll let you know.

UPDATE: Anyone who wants to shoot in Kingsville can come to my friends house in Ricardo and shoot till you run out of ammo.

wanna go....when I was a kid there was a range south of town on off 77 down toward Rivera.
