Thanksgiving/Xmas leave during Primary (Whiting)

Can anyone out there enlighten me on how they work Thanksgiving and Xmas leave at Whiting? I just classed up with VT-6 and I haven't been gouged up on how any of that is going to work. Thanks.

Go talk to StuCon during their office hours. The policies are out for IPs at the squadrons and I think they may be out for studs now, as well.

I know I"m repeating what Fly said, but know there are actual dates out now somewhere.

Ditto the talk to StuCon. Also, I'm in -6 and if you walk into the squadron, you can't miss it. (the leave dates are posted on/around the doors).

The dates are the 23nd-2nd. The 3rd is the first full fly day after the break. I haven't gotten any word yet what the duty schedule looks like for that time though (i.e. if you don't take leave, there may or may not be duty days involved)

I think about those things everytime I get a taquito from the Prop Stop in Corpus. Taquitos are good, but those things were great. I only regret I didn't discover them till halfway through primary.
