The boat qual for the -57 doesn't seem like that big of a deal as it is on the jet side. Is doing it in the rag just more of the same, just a bigger bird?

It's a bit different than going out to old IX514. Shooting the approach at night and possibly in a sea state makes it more of a challenge. The non-RAST equipped helos have it a bit easier because they "only" have to get it in the circle. When doing free-decks (putting the RAST in the box, which some HS birds have and all HSL birds have), it's a bit more of a challenge, but certainly doable. With all that said, IX514 is nothing more than a spot at Santa Rosa that moves at 2 knots.
