Actually, if you remember back a year or so, this is the same "Crew Exploration Vehicle" that was supposed to fulfill President Bush's challenge to go to the Moon and Mars.

Tell them we are at war with the Romulans and show reruns of StarTrek with the CNN news ticker digitally put on the bottom of the screen. That oughta hold the ignorant masses for a while.
