For you helo guys...

That must've been a miserable time to be on a small deck. When the ship's roll exceeds your helo's NATOPS angle of bank limit, it's officially a bad day.

The night portion was without NVGs, too.
 
Ugh. Yeah, I've been in something close to that once. That was enough for me.
 
That's when you use all 720'/min allowed to put that bad boy down...

Gots to time the roll. Freaky. The deck looked green...which is something that I know the Canadian Navy does to their ships...

I know that I probably would have never taken off with those seas. :)
